Transformation drives new thematic opportunities in Real Estate investing
FT Wilshire US Real Estate Indexes are designed to measure the performance of portfolios of US real estate investment trusts (REITs) and other US real estate companies.
The series employs five segments to create groupings of companies occupying similar tranches of investable opportunity -- providing both broad indexes to gain general exposure to real estate and focused indexes for investors interested in a more granular subset of the investable real estate opportunity. The Wilshire Indexes Global Assets Taxonomy System (GATS) is used to determine the eligibility of stocks for the FT Wilshire Global Real Estate indexes
