The FT Wilshire Climate Change Index Series facilitates investment into companies that aim to meet the strict EU Paris Aligned Benchmark (PAB) requirements.
The methodology for the indexes that make up the FT Wilshire Climate Change Index Series is designed to meet to meet the stringent EU Paris Aligned Benchmark(PAB) standards, delivering a fifty percent emission reduction relative to its underlying benchmark and an absolute year on year reduction of at least seven percent. PAB requirements aim to limit the rise in global temperature to no more than 1.5°C compared to pre-industrial levels.

In addition to the indexes within the FT Wilshire Climate Change Index Series, which are administered by Wilshire OpCo UK Limited, two companion indexes have been developed in collaboration with Nikkei and Hang Seng Indexes (need to confirm their formal names) that follow essentially the same methodology: the Nikkei 225 Climate Change 1.5C Target Index, and the Hang Seng Climate Change 1.5C Target Index. These indexes are administered by Nikkei and Hang Seng Indexes respectively.
